Wade

Wade is most well known as the father of Wéland. However, he is frequently mentioned in the Lore although never in much detail. He plays a role in the tale of Hedinn and Hild in Old Norse poetry. In these, he said to have loaned them his boat to escape Hild's father. H.R. Ellis Davidson holds that he was originally a sea giant, and other scholars seem to agree.
